Last weekend on March 19th 2006 we honored Gordon Hubbards last dieing request
with several motorcycles / a police escort / and a prayer. This message is to inform
you all that Gordon Hubbard born October 1958 has passed away. March 26,at aprox. 2:55 P.M.
For all of you that helped with this last request, and the cards the family recieved....

I had the privilege to work with a UBM phone line request this month.
We had a biker request that we help grant his friend's last wish. Gordan Hubbard has cancer and
has about a week to live and wanted to be surrounded by bikes before he left this world.
With the help of past York County Director, Dave Ouellette, this wish was fulfilled.
We added in help from Rolling Thunder, Chapter 2, Maine and a police escorts.
One of Gordan's step-daughters added in Dunkin Donuts coffee to warm up with.
People even had their bikes loaded and tailored to get there. A prayer was said with
Gordan and his Mom presented us with his favorite possession, a bike clock.
Thanks to all that helped by either going or by sending cards.

Thoughts from York County

I would like to take a moment of your time to thank you for a job well done last Sunday.
It was received well and the true meaning of love and friendship in this war torn
neighborhood of Lower Island Avenue came out that day. It has probably been a long time
since something good happened there and we all were witness to it's happening.
I had people from as far as 100 miles away trailer their motorcycles and bring
them to our event. Gordon Hubbard and his family will never forget this, I'm sure.
Thanks again,
Dave Ouellette
